Description
Eddie Solomon was a Major League pitcher nicknamed “Buddy J.”. He was right handed and pitched from 1973 to 1982. Solomon was killed in a car accident in 1986 at the age of 35. This game jersey was from his time with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1981. The jersey is a classic white pullover and was dated by a swatch tag on the lower right portion year ’81 along with [size] 44. The collar tag shows the manufacturer Rawlings and [size] 46 with a 2″ Extra Length flap. All of the identifiers are sewn-on in black and yellow with the sleeves and collar accented by the same colors but elasticized. It shows great wear with ruckling on the identifiers and thread pulls. Overall, a great exemplar of an early 1980’s Pittsburgh Pirates game used jersey.
Authentication: 100% Authentic Team.
