1989 The N.Y. Citizens Tee-Shirt Coast To Coast Ska Tour Concert

Presented is an original vintage promotional N.Y Citizens Coast to Coast (Ska tour) t-shirt. The white shirt is vintage 1989 and measures 19″ across the chest and the 26″ from top of collar seam to bottom. Vintage tagging is Screen Stars (XL). Nice cartoon art on the front and tour information back. The shirt features some staining/discoloration.

This lot is from the T-Shirt collection from the estate of Chuck Landis (aka Largo) veteran promoter, concert best known as co-founder of the Roxy West Hollywood rock club in the early 1970’s and in 1980.  Many of the T-Shirts come from performances that were at the venue.  They have been locked away for many until now. 

The Rox bar was a regular hangout for John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, Alice Cooper and Keith Moon Heidi Fleiss in the 1980s.    So you can only imagine what stories can tell?
