Description
Rick Helling was a member of two World Series Championship teams: the 1997 World Series Champion Florida Marlins and the 2003 World Series Champion Florida Marlins. Despite being traded to the Texas Rangers earlier in the 1997 season, which meant he did not participate in the Marlins’ World Series win that year, he was awarded a World Series ring by his former teammates because of his half-season contribution. In 2001, Helling led the majors in hits allowed (256), earned runs (124) and home runs allowed (38).
This game-worn jersey shows great use and was worn by Rick Helling while he was with the Texas Rangers in 2001. The front of the home jersey features the “Rangers” name across the front along with his number “32” in drop shadow red-blue-black tackle twill. The jersey features the 100th Seasons AL Patch (1901-2001) on the right sleeve and a Texas flag logo patch on the other. The back features his name “HELLING” on a nameplate and his number “32” (also) below it. Great tagging is featured on the inside tail including – Texas Rangers Collection (MeiGray Group), Rawlings Authentic Collection and two flaps SET 2 2001 and [size] 50.
Authentication: Texas Rangers/MeiGray Group, 100% Authentic Team (Cert Holo: 11062)
