Description
The 2011 Georgia Southern Eagles were led by second-year head coach Jeff Monken and played their home games at Paulson Stadium. They are a member of the Southern Conference. They finished the season 11–3, 7–1 in Southern Conference play, winning the conference championship outright. They received the conference’s automatic bid into the FCS playoffs where they defeated Old Dominion in the second round and Maine in the quarterfinals before falling to North Dakota State in the semifinals.
Presented is a 2011 Georgia Southern Eagles (GSU) Ring. It showcases on the face that it is GSU SCHOLAR ATHLETE with a blue stone. One shank features Rogers and the year 2011. There was a kicker Chris Rogers on the team at that time. The other shank features the degree BS and school logo. It is a size 8.5 and the interior has a piece missing. These rings originated from a salesman sample collection so it is possible this one falls into that category.
