August 18, 1954 White Sox Manager Frank Lane Signed Letter to Ted Williams – Provenance LOA

Two page type written letter on ornate Chicago White Sox letterhead from then General Manager Frank Lane. Outstanding content throughtout in which Lane relates his thoughts about William’s proposed retirement prior to 1955 (which he did not follow through on).
