Description
In the United States, we don’t have royalty but we have Hollywood and its celebrities. In Las Vegas, the crown was worn by Frank Sinatra. For many years, “The Voice” required assistance around our neon town which was provided by a trusted valet. This item originates from that fine gentleman who as a top bellhop at a top tier casino in the 1950’s assisted the crooner while in town with his wardrobe, luggage, everyday necessities and transportation.
This is Frank Sinatra’s personally owed satin jacket from the 1985 50th American Presidential Inaugural Gala. This size large jacket was made by RD and Me, Encino, California.
Of course, Ronald Reagan was the guest of honor at the inaugural gala, but it was producer Frank Sinatra’s show. They did it his way. As a memento, Sinatra was given this exceptional cream satin jacket.
Although, the jacket was very sentimental because of the Reagan connection, Sinatra gifted it to his best valet man in Las Vegas. We have never seen a jacket like this before. Plus, it has been in the valet’s collection since the 1980’s so it’s fresh on the scene.
