Description

The Astros promoted J.D. Davis to the major leagues on August 5, 2017. He played 24 games with the Astros, having a .226 batting average, four home runs, and seven RBIs. The Astros finished the year with a 101–61 record, and eventually won the 2017 World Series. Davis did not play in the playoffs, but was still on the Astros 40-man roster, giving him a chance to win his first career championship.

Presented is one of  J.D.’s game used baseball bats from 2017. It’s a Louisville Slugger L164 model bat from the time he was with the Houston Astros. It has pine tar residue on the handle and lower portion of the barrel. The knob end has stamping 5/16/17 MLB MAPLE – 34″ long and 31 oz. weight. The upper cupped portion of the barrel has a missing chunk in it. Davis signed the bat along with a teammate in blue felt tip with Davis adding “GAME USED” as an inscription.
