Description
The sweet swing, smile and infectious attitude were all hallmarks of the great Ken Griffey Jr. He made the game fun to watch for his millions of admirers. When Griffey was in the Emerald City, he dazzle crowds on a nightly basis with circus catches and tape measure home runs. This pair of size “11” Nike cleats were worn by ‘The Kid’ not in the baseball stadium but the golf course. Now retired, Griffey spends a lot of time on the links.
Dirt remnants still appear clumped on the bottoms and sides. Griffey signed the toe box of the right shoe in black felt tip (“8-9”). They were originally obtained from a Griffey’s memorabilia representative (Unique Sports) and include a signed COA from Griffey. Overall, an oddball worn golf item that is connected to a 600 Home Run Club member. Now, all you need is his clubs!
