Miroslav Satan Game-Worn Jersey Signed Sabres – COA JSA & 100% Authentic Team

After two seasons with the Oilers, Miroslav Šatan was traded to the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for Craig Millar and Barrie Moore. He would lead the Sabres in scoring on six occasions. During the 2004-05 NHL Lockout,  Šatan played for Slovan Bratislava in the Slovak Extraliga. After the lockout, Šatan was not offered a contract by the Sabres.

Presented is a game-worn jersey from Šatan’s time with the Buffalo Sabres in 2001.   It was worn at the home opener at Madison Square Garden against the New York Rangers about a month after 9/11 on October 7, 2001. They wore it only for that game, in unity, honor and remembrance of the tragic event. Both teams in camaraderie wore jersey’s that had NEW YORK on the front. The CCM jersey itself shows tremendous wear. It is red, white, gray and black with NEW YORK  diagonal on the front in red/black and Buffalo Sabres logo patches on the sleeves. Satan’s number “81” in three-color tackle twill represents on the sleeves and verso. The jersey with fight strap intact shows blood stains throughout and stick marks. The collar features the [size] 56 tag and the interior side seam has the AirKnit fabric tagging present. The jersey was autographed on the back alongside the numerals in a black felt tip (“9”) by Satan for added value.

It should be noted, the jersey was originally auctioned off by the Buffalo Sabres and included a COA from the team (with a signature from the general manager). That COA has been lost since but was fully re-authenticated by the 100% Authentic Team.
