Movie Prop Sword with Sheath – COA Provenance

Presented is a vintage prop sword from a unknown film. It is made from metal (blunt) and shows distress (wear) throughout. This one measures in at 42″ with a leather sheath and strap.  This was used in many films by the PROP company.   BAcklot Props was known to use multiple swords in various films.  A Great addition to your room and shows very well.

 These items originated from the company Backlot Props and Costumes. Backlot Props and Costumes were based in Burbank, California. They warehoused costumes and props from the major movie studios. The company liquidated their assets in 2010 and these were part of the acquisition of tens of thousands of original costumes and props. These are now available for the first time publicly.
