Muhammad Ali – World Boxing Council Hall of Fame Certificate Document 16×24 Display

This item has the honor of being part of the Glen O’Brien collection. O’Brien’s collection is an important and integral part of boxing history. For countless years, O’Brien collected memorabilia from his hero Muhammad Ali. He was considered a close personal friend of Ali and deemed his biggest fan by the legend. O’Brien purchased many items directly from Ali and did exclusive autograph signings with him.

This particular offering was part of the rare and unique archive O’Brien had. This lovely item is a World Boxing Council Hall of Fame Certificate which was issued in Las Vegas, Nevada (December 12-18, 1993). The WBC is one of four organizations that sanction world championship boxing contests (IBF, WBA & WBO are others). This proclamation by the WBC unanimously proclaims Ali as one of the WBC’s greatest champions in its 30 year history. It features colorful artwork at the top with his name in script and it was signed by Jose Sulaiman Chagnon who was the President at the time of the organization. It also features a gold 30th Anniversary seal with ribbon swatch at the bottom. It measures 9×17 (in matte) with overall 16×24 measurement.
