Stan Lee & Steve Kaufman Signed Artwork Giclee Incredible Hulk Oversized 5′ x 5′Go Back
Considered one of the top “pop” artists in the world, Steve Kaufman’s silk-screened canvases should instantly bring to mind the work of the most famous pop artist of all time, Andy Warhol. This is no coincidence. For the better part of a decade, the young Kaufman was a friend and apprentice of the great Warhol, gaining such trust from both the artist and his supporters that Kaufman finished a number of Warhol’s incomplete commissions after his passing.
Presented is Kaufman’s ode to Marvel’s Incredible Hulk in the form of this Kaufman original painting – “Cause You Haven’t Got a Prayer at Beatin’ Me”. The brilliance of the composition is bolstered by the work’s enormous size, a stirring 5′ x 5′ (feet). Note, it was common for Kaufman to use a multi-paint layered canvas like this as he had many projects going on simultaneously.
It was also signed by the creator of the character, Stan Lee on the verso. Next to it is Kaufman’s signature “SAK” is on the verso in black felt tip with the code 0071. Overall, one of the finest tributes to this iconic comic character. But don’t take our word for it-the image speaks for itself.
Please note, this is an oversized item so additional shipping costs will apply.
