Ralph Backstrom Game-Worn Jersey WHA All-Star – COA 100% Authentic Team

Ralph Backstrom was a Canadian professional ice hockey centre and later a coach, entrepreneur and hockey executive. He played in the National Hockey League with the Montreal Canadiens, Los Angeles Kings, and Chicago Black Hawks between 1956 and 1973. He also played in the World Hockey Association with the Chicago Cougars, Denver Spurs/Ottawa Civics, and New England Whalers from 1973 to 1977. With the Canadiens, he won the Stanley Cup six times, and won the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s rookie of the year in 1959. He was in four World Hockey Association All-Star Game Appearances.

This jersey was worn by Ralph Backstrom in one of his WHA All-Star Game appearances. The blue Western Division All-Star jersey displays the screened on WHA logo on the front and reads “#6” on the reverse and shoulders sewn on in red/white tackle twill. His name “BACKSTROM” appears on the verso in white tackle twill.  The tag in the collar is from Gerry Cosby Athletic Outfitters [size] 50. The jersey does not have a fight strap and it overall shows great wear with ruckling on the identifiers.
