Eric Clapton Signed, Dated Guitar – American Stratocaster LE Clapton Model JSA Full LOA

In the early 1960’s, Eric Clapton picked up the nick name “Slowhand” from the expression “slow-hand clapping.” During his forty plus year career he played with great bands like blues inspired Yardbirds, Cream, and Derek and the Dominoes. His greatest fame came as a solo artist. Considered by most as the greatest guitarist ever. Eric Clapton signed this unique guitar and dated it in black felt tip (“2002”).

The guitar was part of a custom line by Stratocaster that Clapton put out and only had 250 in the edition. It’s an American Made – Stratocaster #SZ2010616. The top portion of the handle features Clapton’s endorsement via a facsimile signature. As part of the edition, Clapton only signed the first 10 off of the production line as part of the promotion and this is one of those rarities.

Authentication: JSA Full Letter.
